Yes! Get your axe in here and have drinks & some food and chill on our outdoor patio or in our gorgeous lodge-like lounge. We have board games to help you relax by the fireplace.

Are you associated with THRōW Social™ at the same address?
YES! THRōW Social™ is our sister brand and is the perfect complement to Kick Axe Throwing®. Whereas Kick Axe Throwing® is very cozy with its Lodge setting, THRōW Social™ is like walking into a Palm Beach summer. With fun & unique activities like football bowling & iceless curling, having a fruity cocktail has never been so much fun! There are also rentable VIP Cabanas for those special nights. Make sure you take the elevator upstairs to check out the amazing space!
How much does this kick axe activity cost & do I have to pay up front?
The cost is $29+tax/pp for the 1 hour range reservation and you pay when you make the reservation online. Normal reservations are fully refundable up until 24 hours before. Book HERE !
Walk-ins -- How do they work?
We welcome walk-ins! There may not be availability to throw axes during super busy times, but you can book for a later time and have a drink & some food! To guarantee availability, definitely reserve your Kick Axe Throwing® experience online! ;-) When we do have walk-in space, the range times only start at fixed times (every half hour), so you may not be able to walk in and start throwing - you'll have to wait until the next available start time. Kind of like walking into the movies. :)

If it shows spaces are available, your best bet is to just reserve the spots!
Do I need a large group to throw?

Those that don't have larger groups and don't mind potentially throwing with strangers or having their group split between ranges (a rare event) can book for however many they have.
Can we just get a range to ourselves?

Eight (8) tickets translates to 1 Range to yourselves. To be the only guests in a range, search for and purchase eight tickets on our booking page. If you purchase fewer than eight tickets, you will just share the range with some new axe-throwing pals!
Once you have a range to yourselves with eight tickets, this means you can also purchase up to two "extra" tickets for that range, maxing out at ten. (Just be sure to add those two in the *extra* tickets prompt during check out, rather than in your original search!)
Sixteen regular tickets translates to 2 Ranges to yourselves. With 16 regular tickets, this means you can also purchase up to 4 "extra" tickets for your ranges, maxing out at 20. (Just be sure to add those 4 in the *extra* tickets prompt during check out, rather than in your original search!)
**EXTRA TICKETS are ONLY available with full-range bookings of 8 or 16 tickets! Adding "extra" tickets to a two-ticket booking will not allow you to add extra people to a range that is already full. :^) This will not be fun for anyone, as nobody wants to be crammed together!

We are all booking separately so we can pay for ourselves. Will we get to throw together?
Let us know if you are booking with other parties in the notes section at checkout (pick one name to say your are with). We will do our best, but the only foolproof way is to create one booking under one name.
I don't want to throw, I just want to come hang with my friends and watch. Do I have to pay?
We have had to change this policy to not allow non-throwers back in the range area due to space requirements. Sorry! they are free to hang in our Lodge and imbibe in some delicious cocktails and food! NOTE: a limited food menu is available during COVID-19 (but we will have all da booze!).
What ages can throw at Kick Axe Throwing®?
Ages 8 and up as long as they have the strength and coordination to effectively throw a hatchet as judged by our Axe Pros. All children must be under the immediate control of an adult! Officially, there must be one adult per three kids aged 8 - 14; kids 15 - 17 just need one adult per range. Ages 7 & under are not allowed on site. Sorry! NOTE: WE ARE 21+ AFTER 9 PM ON FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS
We have implemented a cool solution for kids who just aren't sticking the axe - they throw one of our foam axes and score wherever they hit the target! This way they can compete with the adults. Yay!
What is your Lateness Policy?
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ARRIVE 15 - 20 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR START TIME!
If you arrive after your start time and do not have the range to yourselves, you may not be allowed to join the range. This is because it wouldn't be fair to stop the other guests' gameplay in order to give your group the safety guidelines and instructions when the other guests arrived on time and paid the same amount for their tickets (and then you'll be mad at us and start crying, and then we'll start crying, and it'll be messy AF. So please just come early!)
This applies during COVID-19 since your range will all for your group: You are fine if you have the entire range booked to yourselves - your throwing time will just be shortened to end at the regular time if there is a group right after you.
Can we bring our own food and/or drink?
NOTE: a limited food menu is available during COVID-19 (but we will have all da booze!). The DC location has a full kitchen and bar but does allow outside catering for special events. Please email us at . Store bought cupcakes, brownies, and cookies are allowed with regular reservations and Special Events.
A birthday cake would also require a Special Event table. Please note we cannot allow ice cream cake or home-made cake (health code).
If you just want to bring cupcakes, you are able to bring them to any type of reservation. (Just as long as they're store-bought)
No BYOB is allowed, as we do have a bar on site.
Does Kick Axe Throwing® sell alcohol & food?
We cannot have hangry, thirsty axe chuckers, so we have a full bar & delicious food menu. ID required for all alcohol purchases. NOTE: a limited food menu is available during COVID-19 (but we will have all da booze!).
Do you offer catering?
We do! We have in-house catering and also work with some preferred caterers. Things to keep in mind – you must book a special event to be able to bring in food from our catering partners. Some caterers have a minimum order size and time requirement. See the specs on each menu.
Birthday Parties, Team Building, Bachelor(ette) Parties... are they hard to arrange?
We make it easy! If you don’t want food or just want to bring in store-bought cupcakes, just make a regular booking following the rules below and include a note at check-out that you are having an event.

Don’t forget to put a note that you are requesting a range to yourselves!
Just want to bring cupcakes? You may as long as the cupcakes are store-bought! But email if you have any questions.
If you do plan on having food other than just store-bought cupcakes, you must book through our Special Events department! This way, we can guarantee that the ranges assigned to your group have space for food. Check out our private party page or email us at email@example.com to learn more!
Our Special Events department can also help you book for groups larger than 20, or if you want a multi-hour session. For weekend events, try to contact us as far in advance as possible!
Can I book an event outside of your normal hours?
What is your cancellation policy?
Oh, no you don't! You can't chicken out! Just kidding. You will get a FULL REFUND up to 24 Hours in advance of your time. Sorry but within 24 hours there are no refunds. :'(
If you book a Special Event, you will get a full refund up to 72 hours before your reservation.
Can I change or cancel my booking online?
Yes! Up until 24 hours before your reservation, just go to your confirmation email and click the orange View/Change Booking button. You will be able to change the date & time (if available) or cancel. If you have a range to yourselves (your original booking was for 8 people), you can add up to 2 tickets.
Will we be taught how to throw?
Each range has a dedicated Axe Pro that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw. You will never be in the range without your Axe Pro! Note: During COVID-19, your Axe Pro will be masked and gloved and try to keep a 6 foot distance at all times.
What should I wear? Do I have to wear a plaid shirt?
We have only two requirements (make it three during COVID-19):
*Closed-toe shoes (no high heels even if they are closed-toe)
*A shirt which gives you full range of motion
*A mask to wear when you enter the venue & whenever moving about the venue from your range
We DO have plenty of plaid flannels for photo ops along with faux tattoo sleeves and beards for the full effect. You're welcome. Not during COVID, though!
Are you handicapped accessible? Can I throw if I am in a wheelchair?
10-4 on both of those!
Can I bring my own axe?
Unfortunately, our insurance guy says no (this does not apply to leagues).
Can I buy Gift Certificates?
